An easy way to control the site path and win skirmishes!

Hi fellas! Here is a new Ranger deck that I have been experiencing with. It mostly focuses on the Noble Rangers (Faramir, Boromir, Aragorn, Denethor) but also has great site control for the fellowship side. Here’s my deck list:

Ringbearer and Ring:
boromir, bearer of council
the one ring, the ring of rings

Starting Fellowship:
Faramir, Captain of Gondor
Aragorn, Strider
Denethor, Lord of Minas Tirith

Free Peoples:(35 cards)
ranger of westernesse x3
gondorian blade x2
sapling of the white tree x3
scroll of isildur
ranger’s bow
invigorated x3
hard choice
well-traveled
pledge of loyalty x4
pathfinder x2
aragorn’s bow
war and valor x3
duilin, ranger from blackroot vale
concealment x3
heirs of gondor
faramir’s sword

Strategy:
Bid around 1-2, and double move to site 3 in order to use Denethor’s text respectively. Make Aragorn big with gondorian blade, and aragorn’s bow. When at site 3, exert Denethor to play Duilin, and then exert him to play hard choice, to do it over again. The main cards you want to play out with Denethor at site 3 is:

Duilin, ranger from blackroot vale
hard choice
faramir’s sword
aragorn’s bow

(Note: LOTR rules say that you can only draw or take into hand up to 4 cards during the Fellowship phase. [The rule of 4])

Scroll of isildur boosts up Boromir’s resistance, and the heirs of gondor/war and valor/pledge of loyalty all help in winning skirmish. The ranger of westernesse serves as a site replacer, and fodder for the opponent when you are in a pickle. Aragorn’s bow adds to the archery, and has the ability to exhaust a minion that Faramir can kill with ranger’s bow. Concealment, the perfect card against enduring nazgul, prevents ulaire enquea, thrall of the one from adding burdens, which just makes this deck harder to beat. That’s basically it, so please review and make comments about this deck. I really need help!

only 2 pathfinder? and where’s the IB? or Madril, Ranger of Ithilien???

weird, but congrats. i’ve never seen a deck like this before. But you defintnely need Madril, Ranger of Ithlien

madril would be useful, also anduril FOTW,
noble leaders x2,
2x more pathfinder IMO, cut some concealment, heirs of gondor, add guarded city, otherwise looks OK.

Actually, I could take out a ranger of westernesse, and put madril, ranger of ithilien in its place.

that would do the job, and if you are playing archery, throw in some natural cover.

Actually, concealment is a very important card in this build, since I do play a lot of Minions using Skirmish Special Abilities.

If it’s a noble ranger deck, where is Noble Leaders?

Also, many of those cards are rotated or about to be rotated, so it is illegal to play in standard, so be careful when using it at events.
