So, i’ve been thinking about the birds that fly above the fellowship in FOTR, when lagolas says "Crebain from Dunland. Hide!" i was thinking that Dunland could use some expansion, and more than one strategy. so why not create a Crebain sub-culture?
i was wondering if anyone wanted to help create this expansion? i thought we could hash out a few ideas, and come up with something, then get some reviews to make sure the cards aren’t broken.
i’ll gladly accept anyone who would like to help, especially any fellow Chosen Ones.

Here’s a try at a Crebain minion....
Crebain of Dunland ( and would work too)
Minion • Crow (or maybe just Minion, like Gollum?)
Strength: 3
Vitality: 2
Site Number: 4
Lurker.
To play, spot 2 Free Peoples cultures.
This minion is strength +1 for each companion you can spot over 2.
Maneuver: Exert Crebain of Dunland to play the fellowship’s next site (replacing an opponent’s site if necessary).
Or, the Crebain could be a follower....
• Crebain of Dunland
Follower
Strength +1
Aid - Heal a companion.
Each time you transfer this follower to a minion, except an or minion, exert bearer.
Skirmish: Exert bearer to make bearer strength +1 for each wounded companion you can spot (limit +4). |

Because that doesn’t sound as menacing and cool.

Unless it’s unique, it should be "this minion" instead of the name in the text. Otherwise looks pretty good to me.

Yeah, I think a follower is a much better idea.
As for the card...well, with the "each time you transfer" text, this should probably be or culture instead of . I’d vote for myself. I’d also lower the initial strength bonus to +1, or perhaps even nothing. Neat idea, though. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I prefer the idea of a follower myself; I edited the culture and the strength bonus. |

that’s cool, i hadn’t even thought of followers, my first idea was to make them a new sort of swarm. |
