Hey guys,
You may have heard that Soldiers Cache is missing in the gondor starter for ROS.
Missing Soldiers Cache
why is Soldiers Cache gonna be good?
anyway what do you think D should do?
It looks like the they messed up again Rolling Eyes except this time there apparently are NO copies of Soldiers Cache available.

Hype it up, change the rarity to R++ and see how many people will be stupid enough to order them as singles.

I think they should have a UPC redemption code, send in a UPC, get 4 Soldier’s Cache.

And that was a big bummer, because I need 4 copies for my Three Hunter’s Deck (with Pippin, WoBaS)

They will probably do the same thing that they did for Thorongil. Rolling Eyes

If I had my way, I’d have Decipher sell sets of 4 Soldier’s Cache from their site for $1 with free shipping.

Since Soldier’s Cache is an S rarity card, then a UPC redemption should work fine.

They couldn’t do that for Thorongil since he was rare and there was no way to prove that you were supposed to have him.

But anyone who bought this starter should have Soldier’s Cache.

Of course, we don’t know if Soldier’s Cache was even printed or not...

Okay, so at the time of the Hunters release I was stuck in the dark ages. I had the most recent cards in the group I play with, and those cards were reflections. So, I’m not familiar with the Thorongil debacle. What happened?

Well, 1 out of every 2 versions of Thorongil that you could get in packs were replaced with Aragorn, Swift Hunter by accident. He, for some reason, got printed instead of half of the copies of Thorongil, and so people would get a S rarity card in their booster instead of their rare. And Thorongil was now very hard to get, since there were only half as many copies of him as there should’ve been.

And so Decipher reprinted Thorongil in RoS as the 121st uncommon on an uncommon sheet, so you’ll get Thorongil in just about every RoS booster box.

Actually, I bought the cards I needed to finish off my Men lurker swarm, Wraith corruption, and Dwarven / Sauron NPE Discard Twisted Evil. Don’t worry, I had enough left for two RoS Booster Packs. But I’m not trading you due to a death threat. Wink
