Decent ability. Could be nice if you have lots of minions out, but then it’d probably be better to just keep the Warrior in play so that he can help swarm.
But that lore is pathetic... looks like it was taken straight out of a book for beginning readers. 
Right now my vote is between a 3 and a 4. I’ll vote later.

I think he is pretty good for 3 twilight a +2 pump, even if it is only for a few minions is pretty nice. Another good tool for swarm.

Very interesting text. I suspect Sunland Warrior will only rarely be used as an actual fighting minion; a vanilla 8/2 for  twilight certainly isn’t playable.
But that ability is pretty nice. And since he discards himself during the Maneuver phase, you can immediately stack him on Ceremonial Armor or Wildman’s Oath, to use him again. |
