| I was just wondering, what would help me to design a wonderful Strategy Article Contest without my readers becoming bored, and what are the latest decks? Please give me any advice on how to write an inspiring, yet not boring article, that will both please me, and my readers. (I really need help. Every single Article I have written has not been the best) |

make sure that your writing fits with the material you are covering. what i mean is, if you are doing an article over one deck, go into as much depth as humanly possible. if you covering a whole concept or something, like rangers, give an overview, but make it go into all the different possible ranger decks.

Yeah, keep practicing. My first several articles were...bleah. I never let anyone see them. But, keep writing.
Some ideas, go for a crazy article. My Solo Strategies article and Oddball decks were crazy articles, and they did pretty well. MM’s auto-corrupt deck is doing pretty well to. Rangers are nice, but everyone knows how to run a Ranger deck (or should).
Second idea, cutting edge articles. An article analyzing RoS as it was being spoiled was the latest and greatest, and AP got third place with it.
Third idea, twists. Take a look at my Pippin Engine article, it throws a twist on a common strategy.
Fourth idea, insanely powerful decks. For example, if you’re able to make a killer deck, for example, let’s say Fruit Loops has never been heard of and you wrote an article on it. That would be a good article. MM’s Auto-Corrupt article would be a good example of that as well.
Finally, strategy. Run an article that doesn’t deal with deck types, a single deck or multiple, run a deck that discusses the implementation of various strategies. A good article on this may be an article on synergy analyzing the Dwarf Discard/ Deck-Type, the Dwarf Till Durin Wakes Again Healing/ Goblin Hordes strategies, Elf Forests/Forestguls, and stuff like that. Cover all the areas thoroughly. To bad you can’t have that topic, I’m gonna write on it  |

another idea is go into a certain culture, and reveal some common strategies used with them. these types are great for begginners, and usually don’t recive low marks from the advanced players.
(btw try to use "mm")

Yeah...but maybe try to stay within a certain strategy. Like writing on Corruption, go with Beasterlings, discard, Nazgul Auto-Corrupt, and Retribution, for example. Then throw a small section on  corruption for some light reading, and watch the 5s flow in. (unfortunately, I also have dibs on this article, as it is half written....)

| you’ve gotten some good advice, other articles that have done OK are overviews of versions of characters. ARB’s, gandalf, and elrond being examples. |
