In your opinion, what is the most broken LOTR card?
I had to put something here.

I have a totally different card in mind. Pallando the far broken one. And Nelya, i dunno which is more.

IMO Dark Fell About Him only works with Corrupt Nazgul and only if you have twilight in the regroup. Pallando is an all splash, and TOO effective in a Gandalf deck. Nelya is broken for obvious reasons: Neekerbreeker’s bog, the play a naz to discard a condition site, and many more...

I was thinking Saruman, Coldly Still or Anduril, Sword That Was Broken. Think

Including X-listed cards? Mordor Fiend, without a doubt.

With them out of the running, I’m not sure. Ithilien Blade? Dark Approach? Pallando? I don’t think these are broken, just top tier.

x-listed - Legolas, Dauntless Hunter is pretty terrible. Makes any condition/event shadow impossible.

I think Durin III, Dwarven Lord is pretty damn broken!

No way. He is TOO easy to kill. He has massive strength, but thats it. Any strategy that ignores strength kills him. Have you ever seen NG vs Durin? It ain’t pretty.

Another broken card would have to be Saruman, Servant of Sauron.

Pretty broken, but unless you have a swarming mechanism, he’s worthless. Even if you do, there are still other ways of generating twilight. He’s just an improvement.

So Saruman is still the most broken card.

And A Dark Shape Sprang is really broken, if played right. Hobbit sword to toughen up Frodo? Eat Gollum! And all his smooth ninja moves. With the gollum that discards a card to make him strength +2 while skirmishing a ring-bound companion, OUCH!
