Just checking, but minions can’t be considered "unbound", right? Only companions. Because I know that’s a default status when the card doesn’t say "ring-bound".

Here’s the reason why: Brad has confirmed that T&D will include Ted Sandyman as a Hobbit minion. If this Ted sees a lot of play, and minions can indeed be unbound, then Warmed Up A Bit could see some unintended play. But I’m guessing minons can’t be unbound.

Anyhow, Ted could gain the bonuses from a Free People’s skirmish event like Sworn Companion or Chance Observation, right? Although I can’t see why you’d pump him up to lose a skirmish.

Only companions can be Ring-bound or unbound. Minions and allies are neither.

All cards do what they say.

Chance observation can spot Ted Sandyman, however.

And you may wanna pump him up to use Sudden Fury.

I thought you couldn’t play FP cards during a turn where you’re a Shadow player, though. Is that true? Otherwise, couldn’t you do something like play Armor on a Raider

I think he’s saying that the Freeps player can spot Ted Sandyman when using his own copy of Chance Observation.
