I just wanted to make sure, so just asking... When you play the ability of into the caves, or eowyn northwoman:
-The minion loses printed keywords like fierce, archer and ambush.
-The minion loses its race
-The minion loses its culture (?)
-The minion loses its name
-The minion is no longer a minion, just a character.
If the last is correct, what happens when the ring-bearer loses a skirmishes to a minion that is no longer a minion, but just a character? Can he be killed or overwhelmed? |

Keywords means prited keywords. Specifically those like Hunter, Damage +1, Fierce, etc... Not culture, or race, or the class of minion.
It would make minions lose Southron and Easterling though, I believe, because those are printed keywords... |

The minion would lose all keywords in its game text, along with its race and card type. It would keep its name and its culture.
This is the correct answer. |

| Since it loses its card type, does the ring-bearer receive wounds from losing a skirmish with a charecter? Can he get overwhelmed by such a skirmish? |

| So how about cards like A Shadow Rises and Pallando Deceived, Alatar Deceived and Radagast Deceived? |

| Does that mean you could no longer discard these cards with cards like Pallando as they are no longer conditions? |

I’m assuming this is a mistake on D’s part, and that the minions would still be minions (or cards formerly known as minions), so characters could still take wounds or be overwhelmed.
And I’m guessing you’re right, TheJord, and A Shadow Rises (and similar conditions) coudln’t be discarded with Pallando if they lost being conditions. Although that’s just a wild guess, and that ruling would be just a loophole.
Decipher is leaving a lot of loopholes laying around... |
