With Aragorn working so well with elves, I decided to make a deck reloving around a mega-wounding strategy. With Legolas, Greenleaf and Aragorn with his bow out there, wounds can be assigned in any way one likes. Also, Arwen implements the wounds with her ablilty and makes minions weaker.
Companions/Allies
RB Isildur, Bearer of heirlooms
the one ring, the ring of rings
x1 legolas, greenleaf (starting)
x1 arwen, queen of elves and men (starting)
x4 Aragorn, defender of free peoples
x1 Gil-galad, Elven high king
x1 Elrond, Herald to Gil-galad
x1 Galadriel, Lady of the golden wood
Possessions/Artifacts
x2 Elven Bow
x2 aragorn’s bow
x1 narsil, blade of the faithful
x1 Anduril, sword that was broken
x2 ranger’s cloak
x1 the saga of elendil
x1 knife of the galadhrim
x1 ring of barahir
x1 gwemegil
x1 asfaloth, elven steed
x1 bow of the galadhrim
x1 Aiglos
x1 the tale of gil-galad
x1 vilya, ring of air
Conditions
x4 Gondor Bowmen
x2 Elven Marksmanship
x1 Strength of arms
x1 agility
x1 garrison of osgiliath
x1 uncertain future
x1 the choice of luthien
x1 the Splendor of their banners
x2 the last alliance of elves and men
The main strategy is to set up the good as quickly as possible, so u can exert Legolas and Aragorn each time, and then in the next fellowship phase. Get Aragorn up to 7 vitality, and strange as it may seem, the idea is to get Legolas with Aiglos and Tale of Gil-Galad, so his ablity can be more effective. However, one can also give the extra vitality to Gil-Gadad, or even Elrond! Elrond with his ring can heal 2 wounds during the regroup phase as well (or with the tale and aiglos, can heal 3! ). With Strength of Arms, each time an elf (mainly Arwen) wins, place a token there, and use Aragorns ability to make minions weaker. Agility and Uncertain Future are to be used for the same purpose. With Gondor Bowmen and Elven Marksmanship, the FP will be able to take out just about anything. Also, Aragorn’s 7 vitality is pretty great with his bow. so he cant concentrate is archery on one big guy, if needed.
This deck seems a little big, but it cycles well since the good cards never clog, and when paired with the right shadow, can cycle even quicker (*ahem moria *ahem)
So guys, what do u think? Feedback requested |

intresting choice of aragorn, most archery/wounding decks have Thoringil, and you should have Aragorn’s bow, ranger’s longbow |

I always wanted to see a deck like this.
IMHO telcontar would be better for healing your people... |

i dont have a rangers, longbow though i am trying to get some. however, i like the set 1 bow because it gives one the choice to wound the strongest minion.
telcontar seems like a nice choice... ima test it out with telcontar. i like defender of free peoples because the chain of him and strength of arms: arwen wins -> token -> remove token to make aragorn win |
