When a card like Called Away calls for you to remove a certain amount of something equal to a companions vitality, does that mean that companions highest possible vitality or its current vitality with exertions/wounds? |

SoP is correct. Anarion, Lord of Anorien functions on the same principle; current vitality, not base vitality, is the standard. |
I had to put something here. |

Vitality = Printed Red Number (Because there is no such thing as "printed vitality") + Modifiers - Wounds.
That Easy. |

Are you sure? If a card refered to "printed vitality", wouldn’t that imply to read the vitality printed on the card, ignoring wounds? I know it doesn’t exist NOW, but I could imagine a card like that, and it would make perfect sense to me, at least. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I think those of us who have made sets have made cards that referred to things like "printed vitality".
There’s Gandalf, Stormcrow in my Dark Minions that checks his opponent’s printed strength.
But it does appear that there are no Decipher references to ’printed’ anything. (I seem to recall something, but I have no clue what) |
Our time here is ending...
What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome ). |

Hmm... that works, but it looks like an algebraic equation, which would mean that PR is P multiplied by R. So this might work better:
V = P + M - W
Where V is vitality, P is printed red number, M is modifiers, and W is wounds. |

Or just say V=Pr + M - W. It’s easy to see that Pr is supposed to be one variable. |
