My in the process of being built Gandalf Men deck

I’m going to build this deck but I need help.

Isildur, Bearer of Heirlooms
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings

Barliman Butterbur, Red-Faced Landlord
Brand, King of Dale

Ghan-buri-Ghan, Chieftain of the Woses x 2
Erland, Dale Counselor x 3
Jarnsmid, Barding Emissary x 3

Meneldor, Misty Mountain Eagle x 2
Gwaihir, The Windlord
Radagast, Tender of Beasts
Pallando, Far-Travelling One
Alatar, Final Envoy

Strange Meeting x 4

For A While Less Dark x 4
Guidance of the Istari x 4

Flaming Brand x 4

Any tips?

where’s grimbeorn? he’s one of the best gandalf men, especially with his axe coming up in T&D.

I don’t generally run big minions, mostly swarms, so I wouldn’t be able to use him to his fullest. And since I can’t use him to his fullest, it cuts back on the price of the deck. And leaves room for other more useful companions.

I should be using Guidance of the Istari. Why has nobody called me on that?

Oh, and BTW, I just though of a Beorning Axe/Flaming Brand combo. SWEET!

Grimbeorn, Beorning Chieftain is great even if you don’t have high-twilight cost minions. He has a ton of vitality and gets a free heal every turn, and even a 4-cost minion isn’t so bad since it gives him a total of 8 strength which isn’t too bad once you give him some followers.

Yeah...but I don’t have him readily available, and CC is sold out and I prefer Ghan-Buri-Ghan. Call me weird, but Grimbeorn is just a cool companion that isn’t essential to the deck running, like Ghan-Buri-Ghan, but slightly less powerful.

So use both of them. And maybe add in armor to use with Ghan-buri-Ghan.

AC, you might want to check out grimmy’s text one more time. he is strength+ X where X is that minions strength, not cost. and that means the only minion that doesn’t give at least a strength +3 boost is gollum, hopeless.
