Would Pavise always cost at least one even if there was 4 possessions? My thoughts would be that you would consider Pavise as a and then work its game text off that. |

4? At least 1? (Spied from afar? ) I think you got it all wrong.
Pavise costs 3 -1 for each freeps possession. That means it varries from 0 to 3. |

I believe that the way to think of it is like this:
While Spied From Afar is in play, Pavise costs 3 + 1 - X, where X equals how many Free Peoples possessions you spot. So I would say that it could cost 0 if you could spot 4 Free Peoples possessions.

EDIT: Spied From Afar is non-unique, so the correct equation would be 3 + X - Y, where X = how many copies of Spied From Afar are in play and Y = how many Free Peoples possessions you spot. |
