I had a thought after the discussion about getting the Lord of the Rings up and shared, and that it would be a few years until we’d be able to in any case...
But we’ve already got quite a lot of it. The Cards!
So I was wondering if anyone had sat down and tried to sort the cards in story order (those cards that have lore from the book).
Questions that come up - How much is actually used in all the cards? How much is left unused?
And what other observations could we notice (if any) about where in the books they get their quotes?
Cards status:
The One Rings (not started)
 FotR (non-book Lore sorted out)
Other FotR (not started)
Other sets (not started)

That’s cool, I’ve thought of trying that, just a whim of mine.
If someone could actually put together all the cards in movie-scene order, that would be sweet. |

That too...
So, what we’re thinking is:
Images in order shown during the movies.
Lore in order given in book/movie (with notes for those only in movie, placed in roughly the same spot they would have been, if possible)
Probably the easiest way would be to go through a group of cards at a time (for example, all cards of a single culture, in a specific set). Once they’re sorted, combine the groups until we get a complete list. |

And soon to have most of my classes online
But as for the sites, if we had enough people interested, we could work on it like a set at a time. For example, Fellowship of the Ring, with 365 cards could be split by culture, or by a specific range of cards.
(Assuming 5 people, it would be 73 cards per person - 10 people, and we’re down to 36.5 cards per person average. And those with more time could have a longer range, while people with less time are given a shorter range.)
Also, if someone found all the cards without lore, we could take those out of the equation as well (for lore, at least)
Duplicated pictures could be taken note of and removed from the image, as well as WETA cards (as good as they are, they aren’t in the movie and thus, not in the range of cards needed).
Plus we could make a special note of WETA cards with no lore, thus being in neither list. |

The problem is though after mount doom, the sets start mixing up, shadows has fotr-rotk lore in it. Did you mean just do each expansion or all expansions into the one big correct storyline. THAT would be a silly task to undertake.  |
