Okay, CG hasn’t really been workin’ on this at all, but since this is my last culture to finish for the set I figured I had might as well complete my job.

The Shire culture has 10 cards: 3R, 3U, and 4C. For the strategies, I’m thinking a mixture of followers and pipeweed, with one or two random cards thrown in as well. Sound good?

1 •Southfarthing Halfling Shire
Follower
Strength +1
Aid - Add a burden.
Each time the fellowship moves during the regroup phase, you may transfer Southfarthing Halfling from a companion to your support area to play a pipeweed from your discard pile.

I like it, but I’m a little confused. When exactly is a follower normally transferred back to the support area? I THOUGHT it was at the beginning of the regroup phase.... Think

2 •Bilbo, Bearer of Weed Shire
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Ring Resistance: 4
Bilbo is resistance +1 for each pipeweed you can spot.
Skirmish: Discard 3 cards from hand and add a burden to make a companion strength +2.
Rare

1 •Southfarthing Farmer Shire
Follower
Strength +1
Aid - Add a burden.
Each time the fellowship moves during the regroup phase, you may transfer Southfarthing Farmer from a companion to your support area to play a pipeweed from your discard pile.
Uncommon

1 •Tobold Hornblower, Old Toby Shire
Companion • Hobbit
Strength: 3
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 8
Each time you play a pipeweed, you may draw a card.
Fellowship: Exert Tobold Hornblower twice to play a pipeweed from your draw deck or discard pile.

2 •Rosie Cotton, Daughter of Tolman Shire
Follower
Resistance +3
Aid - Add a burden.
While bearer is Sam, each companion is resistance +1.
Common

1 •Bilbo’s Pipe, Gift of Erebor Shire
Possession • Pipe
Bearer must be Bilbo.
While you can spot 3 pipeweeds, Bilbo cannot be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled.
Uncommon

0 Southern Star Shire
Possession • Support Area
Pipeweed.
When this possession is discarded, you may remove 1.
Common

2 •A Long-expected Party Shire
Condition • Support Area
Each time you play a Shire follower, add a Shire token here.

Kinda weak as far as RBs go, though he doesn’t have a drawback, which is good. Maybe bump his initial resistance up to 5.

I’d either raise her initial cost or, preferrably, lower the resistance bonus to +2.

I respectfully disagree with SoP; with it being non-unique, I think 3 is good.

I’d change that conditional limit to a certain number of burdens, like 4 or 5. Awesome otherwise.
