Well...what can you say? Strength +2 pump at the cost of an exertion. to play. Why not use this card, especially with ’s spectacular healing abilities?
Or so it should be. But Frenzy of Arrows kills this card dead. It would be cool if it didn’t run the risk of facing Frenzy of Arrows.
That, unfortunately, kills the card. But in memory of what it may have been, a 4.
And followers are pretty cool. |

Yeah, I think it merits a 4. Works nicely with the Free Peoples horns, since you’re not losing TOO much by discarding it. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Check my sig in a minute for something about this, and other cards.
It’s good, but bland for a rare. |

Nice!!! A 5, especially since it’s good with Wraiths as PiecesofEight said. (GP!) |

If Elendil’s Army was a skirmish event, an exertion for +2 strength would be bad. But as a follower that can be used again and again, I think it’s very playable. (Especially if you’re running the new Horn -- zero-cost discard fodder!)
Also, notice that the companion you exert doesn’t have to be the companion to which you transfer this card. That adds a lot of versatility. |
