Free Peoples (36)

RB & Ring

Frodo, Protected by Many

The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry

Comps. (10):

1x Eomer, Skilled Tactician (start)

1x Leofric, Defender of the Mark

2x Theoden, King of the Eorlingas

2x Eowyn, Sheildmaiden of Rohan

3x Riddermark Soldier

1x Aragorn, Guide and Protector

Possessions (12):

1x Sting, Weapon of Heritage

1x Anduril, Flame of the West

4x Rohirrim Mount

1x Brego

1x Rider’s Spear

1x Eomer’s Spear

1x Herugrim

1x Eowyn’s Sword

1x Coif

Events (7):

3x Fight for the Villagers

1x Fey He Seemed

3x An Honorable Charge

Allies (4):

1x Hlafwine, Village Farmhand

1x Weland, Smith of the Riddermark

1x Leod, Westfold Herdsman

1x Guma, Plains Farmer

Conditions (3):

2x Well Stored

1x Riding Like the Wind

Strategy: The main strategy of the FP is to use and re-use the Rohan events to pump up your comps. Aragorn is splashed in just in case I need his wounding ability; plus, the exertion from Brego can help in the wounding. The Prancing Pony will be used to pull him from the deck. I was thinking of putting in Pathfinder as well, but I don’t know which cards to replace. The allies are used to heal and to pump, and also to make Fight for the Villagers more useful. The Riddermark Soldiers can pump up my Rohirrims’ strength pretty well, and they also make good cannon fodder. Try to go second with this deck, and run when you’re set. The shadow would most probably stop the opponent.

Shadow (36)

Minions (20):

2x Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul

3x The Witch King, Lord of Angmar

2x Ulaire Attea, Keeper of Dol Guldur

1x Ulaire Attea, Black Predator

1x Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow

3x Ulaire Toldea, Eighth of the Nine Riders

4x Ulaire Nelya, Black Hunter

4x Ulaire Cantea, Lieutenant of Dol Guldur

Possessions (4):

3x Nazgul Sword

1x The Pale Blade

Events (3):

3x Morgul Gates

Conditions (9):

3x Moving This Way

3x Black Breath

3x Blade Tip

Strategy: Use big, fierce Nazgul, Black Breath, and Blade Tip to kill off companions. Moving This Way helps a lot in cycling. Morgul Gates would help in playing more minions, and Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow will play them back (ideally, I’d have 4 Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow in the deck, but I, unfortunately, have only 1). |

You could change 1 of the rohirrim mounts for a pathfinder.

And I would change one mount for Firefoot. (the one which gives Eomer def +1). Because you start with him it could be helpful if you aren't on a plains to be defender +1. |

I have built a decent Rohan deck online using some of the new Bloodlines cards. Any of ya'll up to reviewing it?

On another note: Conor, if my wife posts a deck, can she get a pack too?

She wants to post her femme fatale deck |

Sure. I can't wait to get some Rohan Bloodlines cards, especially the new Theoden. Do you think token manipulation for Rohan is a good strategy? |
