Um... am I the only one who sees a white line in that image? Looks like maybe it was a photoshop job or something and got botched.
But past the image, it’s a good solid card. 10 strength at a battleground and damage +1 for 3 twilight ain’t bad. It’s not ALL that much better than most minions, but it’s solid especially with the Isengard condition that makes every site a battleground (Suffered Much Loss).

Pretty good, but nothing special. It’s not like Uruk battlegrounds are a strategy anyways.

Decent card. for 8/2/5 isn’t bad to begin with, but then he gets tougher at a battleground. Combo with Uruk-Hai Scout, and he’s a tough minion. Of course, that’s all he is, but in a deck that has an extra slot or two, he’s useable.
A hunter bonus would have made it better.
I give him a 4. |

Okay, this is weird. Isn’t there already a card called White Hand Attacker? 17C120 has the same title. |
All cards do what they say. |

Yeah, good catch Bib. That should probably go in the "typos" thread, since I’m sure D doesn’t really intend to make a new version of a minion after only 1 set...
As I mentioned in the Orkish Aggressor thread, Suffered Much Loss is awesome with this dude. Especially if you’ve got initiative...and when you throw in Brutality, it gets nasty. |

Nothing special but not poor. 3 as he can be fairly useful in uruk decks. |

Dear Decipher,
I am writing to ask if you have heard of the once-important concept your predecessors (who seemed to have much better play-testers and grammar skills--see my previous letter for more details on that) called "cultural enforcement". It is where you build into a card some manner of keeping that card from being "splashed" in with any culture, and instead forcing it to be played with other cards of that card’s culture. (Ref. cards like Determined Uruk and Uruk Zealot.) This prevents such cards from being overpowered, and having, say, a White Hand Attacker thrown in with ANY Shadow deck where battlegrounds are a possibility on the sitepath.
I would kindly request that you fire all of your play-testers, hire some people who actually care about the game, and then remove yourselves from office before you run this game into the ground.
Thank you.
Ahem. In other words, 2. Not because it’s not playable, but because it’s stupid to consider how many NON- decks this guy will suddenly show up in. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |
