Sorry for throwing all these cards up at once, but as I’m waiting for one or two more reviews on the other DC’s of mine (and Rohan will come back when I get some ideas), I’d like to start on because I was just reading that part in RotK. So... here ya go!
*Gandalf, Caller of Eagles
Companion * Wizard
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
While you can spot 3 Eagles, Gandalf is resistance +2.
Fellowship: Exert Gandalf twice to play an Eagle from your draw deck.
"As if to his eyes some sudden vision had been given, Gandalf stirred; and he turned, looking back north where the skies were pale and clear. Then he lifted up his hands and cried in a loud voice ringing above the din: ’The Eagles are coming!’"
*Gandalf, Borne By Wind
Companion * Wizard
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
While you can spot 4 Eagles, the move limit is +1.
Skirmish: Exert Gandalf to make an Eagle strength +1 (and damage +1 if that Eagle is skirmishing an or minion).
"’Twice you have borne me, Gwaihir my friend,’ said Gandalf. ’Thrice shall pay for all, if you are willing. You will not find me a burden much greater than when you bore me from Zirak-zigil, where my old life burned away.’"
*The Eagles are Coming!
Condition * Support Area
Toil 1.
To play, spot Gandalf.
Each time you play an Eagle, you may remove a burden.
Skirmish: Exert an Eagle (or add a threat) to make a companion strength +1 and damage +1 (limit once per skirmish).
"And many voices answered crying: ’The Eagles are coming! The Eagles are coming!’ The hosts of Mordor looked up and wondered what this sign might mean." |

Is there a reason for the drop in resistance?

The skirmish ability is a bit much. Perhaps make it both exerting AND adding a threat or limit it to once per phase. |

Drop in resistance? That’s a "+," Dain. "+" means "more"
I like the Gandalfs, but Dain’s right about the condition. I would make it limit once per skirmish. |
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true. |

I meant vitality. Vitality.
This is why I should not do reviews after 10:00. |

Not too bad. Minor mistake in the fellowship ability (what’s an Eage?)
Otherwise I like it.

I like it, doesn’t seem too powerful, but definitely not weak... Interesting with Radagast, the brown, though.

Yeah, it seems a bit much combined. Maybe make each part a choice? No, that seems a bit weak... maybe strength +2 or damage +1?
Or maybe a limit of once per Eagle? |
Our time here is ending...
What did you want to see before the end?
It will be made in the Request-a-card Set #1 (name ideas also welcome ). |

The skirmish ability is too strong, restrict it somehow, some of the others’ suggestions for this are cool.

Yay! Someone doing my dual-character idea. I’m honored.
This is a pretty good one, too. I think you could lower the initial cost a little, though.
