If I cant spot a companion to exert twice, does that mean I cant attempt his text? can i exert a companion once  i should have posted this under game play questions, sorry  |

This oughta go under Gameplay Questions, but...here’s an answer.
You have to take the cost, and then you carry out as much of the effect as possible, so that means you can hit a companion with 2 vitality and exert them once. |
