To the Last Step
Event • Regroup
If the fellowship is at site 6, add 2 burdens, play the fellowship’s next 2 sites, then play Mount Doom to heal each Ring-bound companion.
"But the bitter truth came home to him at last: at best their provision would take them to their goal... There could be no return."
I think a card like this would be really cool. It lets you throw out all of your region 3 sites at once, and since Mount Doom would be site 9, none of those sites could get replaced. It takes 2 burdens, but you get the extra healing.
Oh, and why it’s worded kind of oddly: I made the cost actually taking the burdens *and* playing the sites because I didn’t want an easy healer. The way I worded it, you *have to* play Mount Doom as site 9. |
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Should you include (replacing opponent’s sites if necessary)? Or did they stop that? |

I’d put a spotting requirement on it, like "To play, spot Sam, Frodo, Smeagol, and no other companions." That would enforce the movie-like theme behind the card. But yeah, great idea. |
