Here are a couple of cards to whet your appetite (hopefully ) for the rest of FP .
• Wine of Dorwinion
Possession • Support Area
When you play this possession, add a token here for each Elf you can spot.
Maneuver: Remove 2 tokens from here or discard this possession to draw a card.
”The wine of Dorwinion brings deep and pleasant dreams.”
U27
• Legolas, Mirkwood Archer
Companion • Elf
Strength: 6
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 6
Archer. Hunter 1.
Archery: Exert Legolas and add a threat to exert a minion (or wound a minion if that minion is a Spider).
Legolas was reputedly the finest of Mirkwood’s archers.

When you play this companion at a forest site, you may draw a card.

Wine of Dorwinion looks good.
As for the Mirkwood Archer, it is my inclination that non-unique archer companions could easily get out of hand. My suggestion would be to word the Archer’s text like this:
Mirkwood Archer
Companion * Elf
Strength: 5
Vitality: 2
Resistance: 6
When you play this companion, you may draw a card.
While this companion is at a forest site, he is an Archer.
Just 2 cents. Lmk what you think.
GP for the cool cards. |

Looks like card drawing will be a big strategy with these guys, eh?
As I’ve been cautioned many times in the past (especially with MY Elves, ironically enough), archer is not a keyword to be thrown around lightly, especially with non-unique companions. I think this text would be fine for a unique guy, but as is, I’d limit it to making the archery total +1 instead. I know it seems a minor difference, but trust me, there are reviewers that will hang you for cards like this. Believe me: I’ve been there. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I made him unique, but I also raised his strength to 6. Thanks for the review! |

Yeah, that’s fine. Maybe give him a name, like Celebthir or Tuilin or something. Oh, and make sure to bold archer. |

Done. Now for the Elven-king himself!
• Thranduil, Elven-king of Mirkwood
Companion • Elf
Strength: 7
Vitality: 4
Resistance: 7
Muster.
While you can spot 3 Elves, each minion skirmishing a Elf is strength -1.
Maneuver: Exert Thranduil to reveal the top card of your draw deck. If it is an or card, you may take it into hand and exert a minion.
”In a great hall with pillars hewn out of the living stone sat the Elvenking on a chair of carven wood.”

You like your muster, don’t you?
He looks good, though you missed a rather important "minion" in there. I’ll let you figure out where to insert that. Also, I think his maneuver ability should definately work with cards, either in addition to or instead of (probably in addition to). |
