You mean The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles?
Generally, ATAR is probably better, but IB isn’t useless in comparison. IB gives a strength boost even when not wearing the Ring, whereas ATAR requires it be worn to give the boost.
Also, ATAR requires you to add a burden to wear it, whereas IB does not.
IB also allows you to wear it ANY time the RB is about to take a wound, whereas ATAR makes you wait until the skirmish phase. That could be good or bad, depending on your strategy.
So, like I said, The One Ring, Answer to All Riddles is probably better most of the time, but The One Ring, Isildur’s Bane can be better in certain decks. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I dont think so, a burden to either get a plus 3 bonus or negate an opponents strength bonus. Could prevent an overwhelm but there are better cards for that. |

Anyone playing in TTT block format. The Ring of Doom is almost a necessity in metas that don’t involve minion archery. |

As did the One Ring, The RIng of Rings.
But the question is, who would use ATAR over the one ring, the ring of doom?
Anyone who has the FOIL ATAR. I proxy it all the time for the ring of doom. |

the ring of doom is OK, but against someone with a small hunters bonus not really worth it. |

I dont use the ring of doom for the simple reason it gets you a burden. I use any ring where you gets its bonus without putting it on. Try facing an lurker deck with enemy upon enemy where you generate burdens. Ick. ATAR SaWtC and RoR are the way forward depending upon your RB. |
