In my earlier preview, I neglected to mention one of my favorite cultures:
[Neutral]. This is where guys like Jango Fett, for example, go.
The reason I like it, though, is this:
[Neutral] cards can be included in any deck. All events, possessions, and conditions can be used by the Freeps OR the Shadow.
Even some characters will be Companion/Minion*[Race].
But without further ado, on to the voting. I’ll give a GP to each winner, now and every week. Post your votes with your cards, no voting for yourself.
A = BattleWarg
B = Aragorn, KinginExile
C = legoles33
D = sickofpalantirs

Bounty Hunter
A = Bounty Hunter (Each time a character is killed during a skirmish involving this character, you may remove to stack that character under this character instead.)
B = Bounty Hunter x.(At the start of the assignment phase, you may remove [x] to assign this to a companion.)
C = Bounty Hunter X (Each time a Character is killed in a skirmish involving this minion, add [X])
D = Bounty Hunter (while skirmishing a character bearing a Bounty, this character is strength +1 and damage +1)
E = Bounty Hunter. (Each time this companion/minion wins a skirmish, you may discard an exhausted minion/companion in that skirmish.)
F = Bounty Hunter X (Each time this minion wins a skirmish, your opponent(s) must discard X cards from hand.)
And the new cards, 1 of each of the characters who get 4 versions in this set:
*Padme Amidala, Naboo Diplomat [Naboo]
Companion
Diplomat.
"It’s been far too long. I’m so glad our paths have crossed again."
*Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Padawan [Jedi]
Companion
Jedi.
"Just being around Padme again is intoxicating."
*Jango Fett, Bounty Hunter [Neutral]
Minion
Bounty Hunter (X).
Damage +1.
"Pack your things. We’re leaving."
These are the starter versions. DON’T be disappointed by the low twilight costs! Stats are not static in this game - one version of Jango will cost , for pity’s sake - and these are just the weakest versions of each.
Enjoy! |

The Force, Powerful Tool:
I’m still undecided on this one--REALLY tough choice!--so I’ll edit my post and vote on this one later.
The Force, Part of Life:
After LONG deliberation, I vote F, though D was particularly awesome as well.
Bounty Hunter:
A tough choice between Aragorn and SoP, but I’m gonna have to go with B. Frickin’ cool!
As for the poll, I voted for Jedi. I think Neutral is a really neat idea, but we should probably save that until we have some of the other cultures established. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

If it was confusing anyone, this week’s contest was to add special abilities and stats to the currently very boring versions of Padme, Anakin, and Jango... In this contest, I’ll often give part of a character’s gametext.
Also, I decided to fold the Trade Federation culture into the Separatist culture as they could both use a few more cards. |

The Force, Powerful Tool: E
The Force, Part of Life: E (although F was well worded, I will mention. Good job on that.)
Bounty Hunter: D (tough call between it and E, though)
Also, I’d be open to making my bounty hunter into Bounty Hunter [X], and having [X] be removed for the effect, if that matters.
So, yes Dain, you almost pulled off a full vote from me.
Eomer, could I suggest making the names only the first name? (Like Sam, Bilbo, Merry, Arwen, etc...)
It makes the text shorter and easier to write/read but has the same effect.
•Padme Amidala, Naboo Diplomat [Naboo]
Companion • Man
6 Strength
3 Vitality
7 Resistance
Diplomat. While you can spot Anakin Skywalker, Padme Amidala’s twilight cost is -1.
Each time you play a [Naboo] event, you may discard a card from hand to heal a [Naboo] companion.
"It’s been far too long. I’m so glad our paths have crossed again."
•Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Padawan [Jedi]
Companion • Man
8 Strength
3 Vitality
6 Resistance
Jedi. To play, exert a Jedi.
When you play Anakin Skywalker (except in the starting fellowship), you may reveal the top 5 cards of your deck and take a [Jedi] condition revealed into your hand (or, if you add a burden, a [Jedi] card).
"Just being around Padme again is intoxicating."
•Jango Fett, Bounty Hunter [Neutral]
Minion • Man
9 Strength (unless F or D win bounty hunter, then 8 Strength)
3 Vitality
6 Resistance
Bounty Hunter [X]. Damage +1.
Response: If Jango Fett does not bear The Force and an opponent plays an event, exert Jango Fett to return him to your hand.
"Pack your things. We’re leaving."
The Bounty Hunter number depends a bit on what bounty hunter means...
If A, no need (unless we change it like I presented - then 2 or 3).
If B, .
If C, .
If D, no need.
If E, no need.
If F, . |

Wow, Dain is an awesome DC creator!
jeez, I need training!
Dain, will you take me as your apprentice? Or Padawan? I want to become a Jedi like my father, er, I mean I want to become a DC creator like you. |

You all really flatter me too much. I’m just a simple DC creator trying to make my way in the world.
I still haven’t made up my mind about the first one. I will...sometime. |

Yeah, it probably works better just to use the first names. Should’ve thought about that.
The bad guys have resistance too -- if you read the post where I explained the special rules, the Force changes hands quite often. |
