It is possible that Lord of the Rings cards will pick up again when the Hobbit comes out. They may make a card game compatable with LotR TCG. They are plannning on making the Hobbit, and it may be directed by the guy who did Spiderman 1,2,3.
I hope the game picks up again. possibly start up tournaments again.

| I really hope so too i55, the hobbit related lotr tcg cards would be sweet. Problem is even IF D retain the licence (and the way theyre escalating T&D doesnt look likely) they would probably need a new one for the hobbit and i cant see that happening. |

He’s been telling us to turn traitor for forever.
Anyway, I doubt D would be able to renew the license. If we could give the job of continuing the game to some decent card designers, a Hobbit set could work (Dain, looking for a business venture?).
If not, the game’s dead. In making new cards. With all the cards out there and infinite deck possibilities, I’ll keep playing. Especially since when D stops making cards, the price of cards will plummet. |
