Slow-kindled Courage seems like a powerful card; just assign all the minions to Pippin or Merry and then cancel the skirmish with No Visitors or something.
Is there a drawback to this that I’m missing? What’s a good counter to this? |

| All the minions gets the gametext, not the hobbits. So the shadow player COULD choose to assign a minion to face bearer but doesnt have to. And also assignment actions are done on a one to one basis. Even if the hobbit got that gametext you couldnt assign more than one with it. Just like you cant use smeagol always helps gametext to assign more than 1 minion to him and exhaust it. |

I knew there was something I wasn’t getting to this card. Basically you are betting the bearer can take any minion that might show up, and the payoff is in the regroup.
