I would like to start RPGing, but I need every little detail there is. Please explain detailly about the RPG forum, so I can get started!  |

First stop, create a character in the character profile thread. It should have name, age, time period, and a brief history. Or not so brief, you could pull a Dain Ironfoot or Corvus stunt and write their whole life’s history. I did that...
Then, join an Open RPG. Basically, play it by ear. At least in Freeform. No god-mode, meaning that your hobbit can’t completely destroy Sauron’s troll army.
Unless you’re in a Valar wars thread...
Anyway, that’s really it. Diced RPs and stuff like that are more complex, but we’re not doing that yet. |

However often you want.
If fellow RP-ers are yelling at you to post, probably a good time to post. Or if someone leaves a big hint like
"Turning to Glamdring, he asked...."
Then you should probably post. Other than that, whenever it looks appropriate. |

As far as writting articles, it is smart to have 1-2 aricles at a time and no more. (2 is even pushing it.) once an article is finished and there are no articles on hold, then is the ideal time to post on OOC, and then start up the RPG its self (all with the approval of a moderator of course)
