This is the first of a series of RPs that chronicles the Valar wars. In this RPG, Morgoth returns and is found out by an unlikely party.

Okay, so here’s the start of the Valar Wars. This will be a series of RPGs, this is the beginning.
Near the end of the First Age, Morgoth returns from his imprisonment and sets up his foul work. He’s breeding a secret army in a secret location, which he continues to build throughout the remainder of the First Age.
However, he didn’t not reckon on an unlikely party of dwarves, elves, and men.
The unlikely party discovers him and sets the board for a war of cataclysmic proportions, the Valar Wars.
All right guys, this is not a God-Mode RPG. The Valar and Maiar are NOT fighting yet. That’s for another RPG. The Valar and Maiar are working BEHIND the scenes.
Characters-
Good- Dwarves, Noldor, and Numenoreans.
Evil- Orcs, Trolls, Wildmen and a Maiar who will work EXCLUSIVELY behind the scenes.
Participants-
NBarden- Finalfyn, Morgoth
SoP- Tufian, Gash-khan
Legoles- Kvam, Nagron
AP- Sauron
Ingold- Fingyl
BtO- Huor Sîrfalas

is this supposed to be a god-moding RPg or something? if it is count Tuilin (eltlas would have died at the end of RotH as well as hareth  |

What time period? is it after the war of the ring? if so i will use Durail, if not, i will use Fingyl.

I would like to get back into RPG-ing.
I will make a horse lord character, maybe Carothen’s, (my RPG dude) granddaddy!
Is this something that was in the books or something entirely different?
NB, we will need some more context to really make this fly, but good job thinking of an idea though.  |

New thought.....what type of god-moding (hopefully very little) will be allowed?
I certainly don’t want people to be able to hurt, or kill other members RPG characters, I am assuming that we won’t have any fighting Maia or Valar?
Because that could really get out of hand, think about it, a valar would basically be able to burn any baddie, and for guys like me who use mortal horsemen or Dunedain would have a big disadvantage!
Just make sure you think this through, I repeat that God-moding is what KILLS RPG’s nobody like someone who p00wns everybody in every RPG post they make. |

Aha! There you are wrong!
Its the fifth age. MUAHAHA
BtO, on god-moding, the Maia is working behind the scenes, not actually fighting. Morgoth is going to be played by me, and he will also not be fighting.
So its basically some Orcs and other small nasties against us. That’s it.
SoP, the RotH didn’t end, and thus Hareth didn’t die. And now you can’t kill him, cause you would throw it into a time quandry. Hareth lives! I got kinda attached to him... |
