Hey guys! I think its about time I had a DC contest that didn’t die off, don’t you?

So this time, I’m going with the tried-and-true entrant-vs-entrant DC contest style (originally created by AC Homage

).

I’m not going to have a deadline for entering (yet), but I’d like to get 16 people in, since that would just work out perfectly. If it’s obvious I won’t get that, I’ll just set a deadline and go with what I’ve got.

So you know, the match-ups will be totally random. I’ll put all your names in a hat if I have to.

Anyone can vote. Contestants CANT vote in their own group.

If there’s a tie, I’ll probably find someone to vote on it, or have a tie-breaker DC for the two people who tied.

Entry fee: 1 gp.

The prize: Some gp and Lurtz, Now Perfected.

Come on now, let’s get this started!

Any hints on what sort of thing we’d be designing? Single cards? Whole decks? Razz

Most likely single cards.

Unless I have some super-amazing idea.

Probably I’ll give you a card title to make a DC for, or I could give you a particular scene or theme to make a card on.

It all depends on what I feel like.

A DC deck sounds like a fun idea... but I think everyone would shoot me if I did that.

Okay, in that case, count me in.

With all the DC stuff I already have on my plate, it’d be hard for me to do something like that "design a ranged weapon for EVERY culture" contest thing I got myself into a few weeks ago. Razz

Oh, well, I doubt I’ll do anything like that.

Extremely large requirements for contests tend to drive people off.

Pipsqueak created the first one of these boards, but the idea had been used many times on the Decipher forums before that. And my contests were cooler than Pipsqueak’s. Wink
