| well, I have companions of gondor in my fellowship and no one is wounded. Can I use Duty of two??? (to add 3 threats??) |

Yes you can. As long as you can pay the cost of a card (which in this case is adding 3 threats), you just carry out as much of the effect as possible.

First you need to have 3 Gold Pieces. (here, have one)
Then you have to purchase it using them at the forum shops, and after that in your profile you will be able to upload one. |

Since there are no costs to it other than the twilight cost, you can play this during any skirmish, even if it doesn’t involve a  companion. If you play it during a skirmish involving a companion, you would have the option of making that companion +2 but you wouldn’t have to. |

If you meet the "(Or...)" part of the card, you HAVE to do the "(Or...)".

Yeah, but it wouldn’t have any effect or bearing on the current skirmish.
Just to make sure, during the skirmish phase it is played, the chosen companion DOES get the strengh bonus, so if the power were to be switched, the event would apply. It does have an effect, just on a useless (mostly) time. |
