actually, I test decks old-school style. Get playsets of random cards and write out a key (Llanowar elf = kokusho, mountain = swamp etc) and get a friend of mine to play against (or my dad, but he’s bad sometimes). I should probably get around to finding MWS and stuff, but meh. I prefer the feel of real cards, and my rents won’t rag on me for being on the comp. |

This deck devotes way too many slots for a weak synergy between the Genjus and Earthsurge. If you gain control of the board through your removal, then Earthsurge is a ’win more’ card. There are way too many Genjus to activate each turn, leaving you with many dead cards especially since they Genjus are hard to get rid of anyways. |

Exactly why I play earth surge.
You do have a point, but the problem is I can only play so many genjus. Considering this is G/R splash white, and the white genju isn’t very good, I can pheasably play twelve, but realistically only ten. Creatures of my own would get demolished by my own spells, but this would not.
Perhaps I should try some seismic spike in instead (if I were to take it out)? Give the two mana for the genju to activate. |

maybe drp the genju count to 8? and cut white? you could switch to a more g/r control deck with wildfire, then finish the opponent with genjus after you clear their board. |

Wildfire and genjus don’t mix. I also lose a lot of board advantage by losing Wog and my anti-agro genju.,... |

I think they do mix. after you wildfire, your opponent has no mana or creatures, and the next turn all you have to do is drop a land and swing for 4 or 6. |

Sigh. Another hate one. If anybody has a reason for a one, please tell me. Just to make sure I didn’t miss anything huge (like if genjus aged out of standard is about the only thing that makes this a one).
I can understand threes, maybe a two, but comon. Hate one = lame. |

I’m glad. I’m not pointing any fingers. I just want whoever it is to have some sort of reason for why my article deserves a one. Even if you hate genjus, it’s still carefully thought out and planned, and quite original... |

Don’t think you can beat domain even with naturalize.
However, I’m not under the impression that much can. Perhaps you could make a way so you can retrieve dead genjus? If they get two enchantment hate, you pretty much just lose, and thats never a good thing. |
