I was flipping through my cards last night and came to Feel His Blade. I thought nothing of it until I remembered the abilities of minions such as Strange-looking Men and Swarthy Bree-lander. They have the ability to transfer conditions.
Now, Feel His Blade says ’during the turn this card is transferred.’ That applies to *any* turn it’s transferred, right?
I’d think so... and if I’m right, that’s a really effective way to gain initiative. |

Well, Strange-looking Man can only transfer it to another eligible bearer, right? And I would say that it could only be transferred to someone who is skirmishing a Nazgul, so I don’t think it would work.

That is AWESOME. I could see building a whole deck around that and some of the other conditions. for the find. |

AC is correct, you can’t transfer it if you can’t meet the requirements to play it in the first place. And unless D make a way to have Nazgul skirmish in the maneuver phase that won’t work.
Same reason you can’t transfer say an Elven Bow to a companion that already has an Elven Bow. |

Poop.
Now I’m inspired to see if there’s a way to make it work. Hmmm.... |

Almost all the uncommon versions of the Nazgul of RotK utilize initiative during the regroup. Stooping to the Kill is never bad either.
I disagree with AC on this one. The ability of Feel his Blade, requires a companion skirmishing a Nazgul to be transfered. That doesn’t mean that they are the only eligible characters as well, since the wording: "Bearer must be..." (Just like on Elven Bow) doesn’t exist.
However, SLM says that the condition must be transfered FROM an already existing bearer, to another eligible one. That means, the condition must already be on someone.
Nice thought M64! |
