so, i was thinking over the culture (my personal favorite) and was thinking of a beastly beat-em-up deck. i’m pretty sure it will just irritate and mess up your opponent, not really slaughter them. but here is what it will be based on.
4x gates of the dead city
4x lingering shadow
4x blade tip
and throw in a couple morgul blade and Dark Fell About Him for fun.
what do you think. any ideas/suggestions? |

Ulaire Otsea, Ringwraith in Twilight wouldn’t be a bad idea, especially if you combine him with as many It Wants to be Found as you’re allowed to cram into your deck. Alternatively, you could combine any Uruk, Saruman’s Reach, and Wraith-world for some REAL fun. Resistance Becomes Unbearable wouldn’t hurt, either.
Ulaire Enquea, Ringwraith in Twilight or The Witch-king, Lord of the Nazgul could then be used to finish the RB off, plus they can work with It Wants to be Found and Resistance Becomes Unbearable.
Classic twilight Nazzie beatdown/corruption! |

yeah, i have a twilight nazzy deck (my first and only deck) and i’ve been leaning towards using twilight nazzy’s with it want’s to be found for some easy burdens. and otsea was one of the main minions i was thinking about.
i really like the idea of saruman’s reach, i should try that out.

One of the best parts about it is that it works with ANY Uruk-hai: , , ...doesn’t matter.
And it’s especially mean with a Gates of the Dead City / It Wants To Be Found combo, which will be racking up lots of burdens and/or exertions anyway. |

Problem with Saruman’s reach is that if your deck is too effective at putting wounds on people, you won’t be able to make them put on the One Ring. If all of their guys are exhausted, they could just choose to exert two companions, which they can’t do, so the card does nothing.
Wraith-world and the twilight world are way better than it wants to be found, use as many wraith worlds you can fit in, or use resistance becomes unbearable with a twilight nazgul and ulaire enquea, thrall of the one with loads of the twilight world in hand. You exert the twilight nazgul to make them put on the One Ring, then exert enquea with the twilight world to add 2 burdens for each one, then heal him in the skirmish to add even more! Then use ulaire toldea, black shadow, hatred stirred or other recursion cards and do it all again!
Combo intensive, but hilariously funny.
And you definitely need the witch-king, lord of the nazgul riding a fell beast (and having the pale blade is just a bonus).

See, I would think it would be the opposite: if they can’t exert two companions, they HAVE to choose to wear The One Ring, which is why I thought it was particularly evil.
Am I wrong? I don’t THINK I am, but it certainly wouldn’t be the first time. |

i’m pretty sure dain is right. but either way, both are insanely evil.
wraith world and twilight world are good, but the need the ring-bearer wearing the one ring. it wants to be found lets you cheaply add a burden, and trigger the gates of the dead city. i love the twilight world/toldea trall of the one combo. that’s particularly good.
still in my oppinion, the best Nazzy combo is the auto-corrupt. (the link is in my sig if you havn’t seen it.) i actually should be recieving the rest of the cards i need for it in the mail today or tomorrow from Cobra.
it uses keening wail/toldea thrall of the one to heap on burdens. since it doesn’t have the room to focus on getting the one ring on the ring-bearer.
nazgul are by far my favorite minions. they are just plain nasty.

Hmmm... I’m no longer sure about Saruman’s Reach, you could well be right.
And while wraith-world and the twilight world require the Ring-bearer to be wearing the One Ring, they’re cheaper than it wants to be found, add more burdens, and they’re not impossible to pull off (and can be quite likely in the right deck) by using resistance becomes unbearable, Ulaire enquea, ringwraith in twilight, maybe saruman’s reach and the witch-king, lord of the nazgul. If you make both the twilight enquea and witch-king fierce, they should be exhausting the Ring-bearer each site and then they just add burdens and allow the use of wraith-world. Personally, I’d always use them over it wants to be found, but I understand your points.
Also with ulaire enquea, thrall of the one, try and use the ancient cards bent on discovery and the ring draws them - those are amazing combos with enduring nazgul.
I have seen the auto-corrupt, and obviously that’s the best, but it’s always fun to have others.

Wraiths are cool. Gates of the Dead City will provide all the exertions you need, or most of them.
Neekerbreekers Bog. Site manipulation with this site will hurt bad, and you already have a lot of burdens to help it get working.
This isn’t an auto-corrupt deck? Maybe Dark Fell about Him. |
