A Pippin tank! What is the world coming to?
He harkens back to Pippin, Friend to Frodo in that he works well with tales, but he does it in a whole different way. It’s actually nice see a fighting Pippin, and in the right deck, he can get pretty strong. A 5. |

This is probably my favorite companion in the whole set.
I’ve been wanting a fighting pippin and he isn’t like the annoying junkier version of merry. Oh, and as noted earlier he works with any tales like dwarven thorin’s harp or whatever it’s called. |

Even if you don’t want to put him in a whole tale deck, throw him in an Everyone Knows deck and there’s +4 strength. |

And plus four if he’s totally healed.
Run Bilbo as the ring-bearer with consorting with wizards and maybe some stone trolls? |

Neat card, but I think that, since it lacks a cap (which a card like this really needs), I can’t give it anything higher than a 3. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

I give this Pippin a 5, since he promotes the Boromir-unbound Hobbits strategy.
I will give you a hint: The Faithful Stone is a tale |

Awesome! He works well in a Everyone Knows deck, and he’s begging for an entire deck to be made that is based around tales. Let me try and make a decklist here...
