Free Peoples 40
Ringbearer and Ring
Frodo, Reluctant Adventurer
The One Ring, Such a Weight to Carry
Companions 1
Durin III, Dwarven Lord (starting)
Possessions 15
x2 Dwarven Axe
x2 Hand Axe
x2 Dwarven Bracers
x2 Belt of Erebor
x2 Sting, Elven Long Knife
x1 Bill the Pony
x3 Salt from the Shire
x1 Mithril Coat
Artifacts 3
x1 Ring of Guile
x1 Ring of Fury
x1 Phial of Galadriel, The Light of Earendil
Conditions 11
x2 Birthday Present
x2 Cliffs of Emyn Muil
x2 The Tale of the Great Ring
x1 O Elbereth! Gilthoniel!
x4 Endurance of Dwarves
Events 10
x3 Axe Strike
x3 Disquiet of Our People
x2 Power According to His Stature
x2 Hobbit Sword-Play
With Durin III, Dwarven Lord being so easy to pump up, I decided to use him to protect Frodo. If someone does manage to skirmish Frodo, I put in some wounding events. And just in case, if the minion can’t be wounded, I put in some cards such as Power According to His Stature, Hobbit Sword-Play, Hobbit Intuition, No Worse for Wear, Cliffs of Emyn Muil, and The Tale of the Great Ring. I also put in some dwarven discarding.
Shadow 40
Minions 22
x4 Archer of Harad
x4 Southron Murderer
x2 Mumak Commander, Giant Among the Swertings
x2 Fletcher of Harad
x2 Voice of the Desert, Southron Troop
x1 Axeman of Harad
x1 Detachment of Haradrim
x2 Ferocious Haradrim
x4 Mumak Rider
Conditions 8
x3 Pursuing Horde
x2 Howdah
x2 Wielding the Ring
x1 Caravan from the South
Events 6
x3 Elevated Fire
x3 Precision Targeting
Possessions 4
x4 Pavise
This Evil Men Archery is pretty standard. Use Precision Targeting to make only 3 companions able to take archery wounds. Maximize your archery fire to kill them, and if you have Ferocious Haradrim out, your minions turn into monsters. This works well with Slag Mounds.
Open to any advice or suggestions. |

no IMHO that would be too expensive, but yeah cut all rings but fury and maybe one other. otherwise looks cool! oh wait might want a few pumps for durin a few flurry of blows would do the job. |

IMHO = "In My Humble Opinion". Some people just use IMO ("In My Opinion").

isn’t it bad to take out all those rings? they’re artifacts, which make Durin stronger. Ring of Guile is especially crucial for this deck. it can get me back my Disquiet of Our People and my pumps. |
