i just got an idea. there are hand weapons that say "this possession may be borne in addition to one other hand weapon", but why aren’t there any ranged weapons that say that? i think it would have been a great addition to the rohan archery strategy to have a javelin or two that could be borne in addition to one other ranged weapon.
so here go some DC’s:
 Javelin of the Mark 
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Bearer must be a Man.
This possession may be borne in addition to 1 other ranged weapon.
Response: If a minion is played, discard a ranged weapon borne by bearer to wound a minion.
Rider’s Javelin
Possession • Ranged Weapon
Strength: +1
Bearer must be a Man.
This possession may be borne in addition to 1 other ranged weapon.
Assignment: discard this possession and choose a shadow player who must wound one of his or her minions.
note: the reason i chose the assignment phase for the second weapon was not only to give it a unique characteristic, but also because the javlin didn’t have as long a range as the bow did. thus making it more effective right before hand to hand combat. i.e. the assignment phase.
anyways, what do you think? |

Great idea! Why don’t you do the same for as many other subtypes as you can think of? 2 Armors, for example.

I’d choose one of those effects and ignore the other, probably the exertions.

Too good, methinks. Perhaps if it said ’Response: If bearer is assigned to skirmish a minion, discard this possession to wound that minion.’ That would at least limit it’s use. Or, you could let the Shadow player choose where to put the wound.

My only comment would be to capitalize "Man" and "If", and get rid of that out-of-place ")", but this is really cool!

Here, capitalize "Man" again, and also "Discard". "one" should be simply "1" as well. Neat, though! |
