--- description ---
Hobbits that kill during the regroup, with the power of Orc wounding.
--- end description ---
I felt bored so I thought I’d design a random deck.
(39 cards)
Sam, Bearer of Great Need
The One Ring, The Ring of Rings
Westfarthing Businessman
Merry, Loyal Companion
Pippin, Wearer of Black and Silver
Smeagol, Old Noser
Aragorn, Wingfoot
Westfarthing Businessman x 2
Radagast, the Brown
Aragorn’s Bow, Ranger’s Longbow
Anduril, Sword that was Broken
Hobbit Sword x 4
Sting, Weapon of Heritage
Bill the Pony, Dearly-Loved
Golden Perch Ale
Scouring of the Shire x 4
Sudden Fury x 4
Days Growing Dark
Daddy Twofoot, Next-Door Neighbor
Hobbiton Farmer, Lover of Pipeweed
The Gaffer, Master Gardener
Community Living x 3
No Help For It x 4
A Wizard is Never Late x 2
Something Slimy x 2
Black Gate Sentry x 3
Scouting Orc x 4
Veteran War Chief x 4
Orkish Smith x 3
Scavenging Goblins x 2
Orkish Lackey x 4
Black Land Overlord x 4
Black Land Chieftain x 2
Black Land Observer x 2
Goblin Hordes x 4
Unforgiving Depths x 3
Mordor Scimitar x 4
Good sites to have:
(Nabbing stuff)
The Prancing Pony
Dammed Gate-Stream
Green Dragon Inn
(Cycling)
Courtyard Parapet
Slopes of Orodruin
The Angle
Use Bill the Pony, Sam, Aragorn (grabbed with the Prancing Pony), Smeagol, and Radagast to run. Throw Smeagol around as necessary to remove burdens with No Help For It, Days Growing Dark works perfectly for cycling and nabbing Smeagol. Your Westfarthing Bussinessman get pretty tough, and even if they don’t win skirmishes, drop minions like crazy in the regroup.
Then with the orcs, wound like crazy as necessary. Black Land Overlord and Lackey kill during the maneuver phase, Black Land Chieftain and Black Land Observer throw out tons of threats, meaning more use for the overlord, death with the lackey, and more wounds with threats. |

Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

I would definitely slim the deck down to 35 cards, maybe even less. It looks too big at the moment. Also for your Free Peoples side, Unharmed works great since you can lose skirmishes which adds tokens to Sudden Fury, and then play Unharmed to heal your wounds and kill off the minions with Wingfoot when you double-move.

Yeah but still, having it so big means that there’s a bigger chance of not getting the cards you need early on. I would drop the Smeagol package, which frees up 7 cards, and then add Unharmed x3 which brings the total back up to 35. And to make it even better you could a copy of Community Living and Hobbiton Farmer to bring the total to 33 cards.

Dammed Gate-Stream.
Right after The Prancing Pony.
I also filter with cards that play cards from the draw deck.
Speaking of which, I need some Something Slimy.
I’m still trying to figure out how to work Unharmed in, give me some time. I need to get off soon, though. |
