I thought I might as well get back into DC-making. Very Happy

Exert X Uruk-hai to make Orthanc Minion strength +X
(limit +4).

Assignment: Assign this minion
to a companion (except the Ringbearer.)
The free-peoples player can add 3 or discard
a card from hand to prevent this.

Variag. Fierce. Hunter 3 Ambush 2.
Each time this minion wins a skirmish you may

Class. Simple and effective. But needs stating that its in the skirmish phase (presumably) with Skirmish: ....

Phrase it "Assign this minion to a companion (except the Ring-bearer)" and then its cool.

What the devil is a Variag? Needs phrasing this way. "Each time this minion wins a skirmish, spot X Variags to discard X cards from the free peoples draw deck". Id put a limit of 3 on it or else its abusive, and also lower it to 8 cost and drop to hunter 3 imho.

You need to state what phase that action is in, presumably skirmish. Id lose archer. Having a non unique archer companion is too strong and id say whilst you can spot more minions that companions it is defender +1 or while you can spot 4 other elves or something else its too easy.

Hmmm crazy and meta shattering. Good idea fits well with scouring of the shire chapter. Id make it unique else its too wrong.

I made a few changes, I ditched the Archer ability for
Lothlorien Archer, and made the hobbit unique.
A Variag of Khand is a type of Southron from the book.

Ahhh couple of other things. need to say TOP of the free peoples players draw deck otherwise would be silly!

Still need to add Skirmish: to that first uruk.

Yeah i gathered hadnt seen you making DC before. But those are cool cards whith some good ideas. I like the first 2 guys for their simplicity and your variag is a cool card even though i hate discard decks.

I did most of my DC’s around October ’06. Before you or NB or Dain showed up.

Ah right. Well once youre back upto speed with the exact phrasing and layout youll make some kick ass DC’s as these are great for guy who says its been a year since he did one last!

O one last thing. You HAVE to give that follower some cultural enforcement. make it bearer has to be a Shire companion or like Dinendal if its transferred to a non hobbit exert that companion.

Defender +1 elf...sweet, but I don’t think so. Defender isn’t an elf thing. And it doesn’t have anything to do with archery.

Sweet. But being unique, Shire can now throw out a grand total of 1 archery. Useless, make it do something cool.
