Don’t forget arming him with a Goblin Spear! Probably the first unintended combo in the history of LOTR TCG. Very Happy

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

The main card you use is "must do without hope: Maneuver: exert the balrog to add a burden." This has no limit, and so you exhaust the balrog and add 4 burdens. do this twice to three times and you win the game! Cool (It has worked for me.)

Sorry, doesn’t work. Otherwise a card like Swordarm of the White Tower would give infinite strength.

The reason you can’t do it, is because it is an event and thus you simply pay the costs (if any, in this case an exertion on the Balrog) and perform the effect once (in this case, adding 1 burden).

So each copy of Must Do Without Gope can only add 1 burden.

Well, you can run Host of Moria with it and pull Must Do Without Hope back a couple times, but otherwise....

How about 38 for a swarm. I think it could work.

BTW, I’ve done a Non-Armory 35 swarm, and it usually worked. Otherwise, my amazing Gondor would win on the FP sode for me, anyway Wink rofl

If you want to corrupt with Moria, the best way is to pair with a FP filter, cycle until you grab a coupe Lost to the Goblins, and then wait till you drop 10 minions. Use Gollum, Dark as Darkness to exert the ring-bearer, and WHAM! 20 burdens.

What’s the text of "Lost to the Goblins" ? I thought the max burdens were 3 per card

Oh...missed that.

12 burdens....? Still enough...usually.

Consider Host of Moria. Combined with Goblin Sneak and Host of Thousands, that’s mega corruption.

But the main thing is having those shadow cards in your deck to discard from the top, unless your deck has been fully cycled to all evil, then the FP is screwed.
