I was playing a game the other day with a friend of mine. I was maxed out on threats (5) and my ring-bearer was exhausted. My opponent played a Nazgul and then a Morgul Destroyer which caused me to have to wound my ring-bearer. The ring I was using was SAWTC so I died and the game ended. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss something here. Was there anything I could have done in this situation besides preventing the wound? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If you are maxed on threats, the Destroyer won’t actually do anything. Since he says "The FP may wound the Ring-bearer to prevent this," the FP can simply choose not to prevent and so no threats will be added.

Dang! As you say, all cards do what they say. I should have read the card more closely. Thank you for your quick response Bib, it is much appreciated.
