The deck is 35 cards, which is more than I usualy run, but Frodo is muster (as well as Gandalf once you get his staff), so you can discard some cards you dont need every turn. That said, let’s take a look at the fellowship once full it is fully armed and at a plain site:
Frodo:
Strenght 12 (Hunter 3 while wearing the One Ring)
Vitality 7 (So he can remove plenty of threats or take archery)
Resistance 11
Muster if you exert
Haleth:
Strenght 16
Vitality 3
Resistance 7
Damage +1
Defender +1
Prevent mounts from being discarded
Exert at the Start of the Skirmish
Cannot take more than 1 wound on a plain
Eomer:
Strenght 19 (22 with doorwarden) (Hunter 2)
Vitality 3
Resistance 8
Damage +1
Exert to make a minion exert
Remove two tokens to make him Defender +1 and Strenght +1
Liberate a site with Worker each time he wins
Theoden:
Strenght 20
Vitality 4
Resistance 9
Damage +2
Add two threats to prevent a wound
Remove two tokens to exhaust a minion skirmishing him
Gandalf:
Strenght 16
Vitality 5
Resistance 8
Muster
Each time he wins a skirmish you may reinforce a token and make the shadow player wound of of his minion (and discard a condition with Pallando)
Add a Threat to remove a Burden
The move limit is +2 and you can replay your possessions with freely across our lands (reinforce with Gandalf and the Rohan Mearas)
One of the key is to have lots of plain sites on the site path(+4 to each companions), fortunatly, you can run up to 8, but since I want to play both Stables and Mount Doom, I will run only 7, so heres the site path
0 Isenwash
1 Morannon plains
1 Pelennor Fields
1 Ettenmoors
2 Flats of Rohan
2 Wold Battlefield
2 Stables
3 Harrowdale
3 Mount Doom
To go along, I strongly reccomend an Evil Man deck to bennefit from all those plains.
Also, a variation to the deck (to be less focussed on plains) would run Brought down from inside instead of dispatched with haste, but I like the way Frodo and Gandalf also benefits from those mounts.
I know this takes a load of time to set up, dan gives twilight like a madman, I juste looooove those kind of theoricaly unbeatable fellowship. |

Keyword, theoretical.
Hey, since you’re running followers, I recommend cutting extra copies of comps for Last Days of My House. Helps with cycling a little as well, and you can nab a comp or follower. And slim down the deck some.
No Hurried Barrows? I love that card. Mounts = str +6 pump from 1 card.
I’d use Rider’s Spear over Spear of the Mark. Extra str +1 and damage +1. Plus, Eomer has enough defender anyway. |
