Hey guys hi there again, just a newbie question:
Can i exert twice a Úlairë Cantëa, Thrall of The One (10R67) with A Shadow Fell Over Them (15R182) if Úlairë Cantëa wins a skirmish???, because Úlairë Cantëa, Thrall of The One (10R67) says: Shadow cards cannot exert Úlairë Cantëa during a skirmish phase.
Thanx.

I am 99% sure that would still be considered part of a "skirmish phase", and therefore I am 99% sure the answer is no. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

No because as you say cantea says shadow cards cannot exert him during skirmishes.
As long as youre in the skirmish phase the only cards that can exert Cantea are sites and freeps cards.

What Dain and lem0nhead said. From the rulebook, "A skirmish phase ends after all actions triggered by winning or losing that skirmish have resolved." A Shadow Fell Over Them triggers each time a Nazgul wins a skirmish, which unfortunately falls under that rule.
Something to keep in mind with Promise Keeping/threats as well. |
