Does anyone know how many Sams there are, and what their names are?

well the one from aged end can be of use in g for grand deck.......
also the one from TT who prevent burden can be of use too in very spécifque way
also the one from ROTK that heal himself can be a good asset in a shadowplay deck....
but true GEW is the best by far |

Well it all depends on your format. If you’re doing anything pre-RotK, then Son of Hamfast is pretty much you’re best bet. And he’s also what you want if you don’t play against threats very often, but run into quite a few burden decks. |

He’s decent, but only if you throw onto him Rare Good Ballast. Defender +2 on a cheap-throw away like PP is never anything to sneeze at. |

I played with an all hobbit deck, and Sam Proper Poet was the last companion out.
