Phazanzar made a good point in one of his posts. Every culture has a Ring-Bearer except Rohan. Who should it be |

I picked Eomer,
1) ppl would use him instead of the uber stength +2 for each wound one.
2) He looks like a ringbearer. He has that same x-factor as Boromir and Isildur. Give him the ring dangit. |

i doubt that there will ever be a rohan ringbearer, because it would be very hard for D to come up with a plausible scenario of how rohan got the ring. but if there ever were one, i would say either eomer or theoden |

Why wasn't Rohan at the Council of Elrond? They are under threat too.... or is it that Theoden is under control by Saruman at that time |

Well, yeah... everyone so far makes sense, Rohan wouldn't. But for fansake, they could just put him in. Think about it... they're all about "what if", Eomer/Theoden could have gone to the council. etc... g2g. |

the scenario ive always heard was something like this: what if frodo & sam got captured by uruks too & were carried off w/ merry and pippin. after the attack on the uruks by eomer's bad, eomer found the ring and took it. he then gave it to theoden. |

I vote Theoden - he is a nice old man, but knowing that even a loser like Saruman succeeded to corrupt him, the Ring itself will have much greater power on Theoden And he's also a good warrior, why not to be a RB ? |

Yeah, if Theoden was the RB, what would his starting resistance be? Like 2? And he'd have gametext like: While you can spot Eomer or Gandalf, Theoden is resistance +4..
I say Eomer or Eowyn make for a better Rohan RB, and I'm not sure how "plausible" the ring bearer has to be. Let's see:
Galadriel - makes sense, she was offered the ring by Frodo
Gandalf - yep, he almost picks the sucker up in the Shire
Isildur - well, he actually DID have the ring at one point, so ok
Smeagol - see Isildur
Sam - See Isildur
Boromir - He tried to take it, so yeah...
Gimli - this is where we stop making sense. If Gimli had even thought about it, Aragorn and Legolas would have reamed him a new one.. He didn't see particularly tempted at any point. Just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something |

Gimli as a RB isn't making sense, because this has nothing to do with the story. But, regarding game tactics, it's a good feature - the Dwarves have become even more damn unstoppable after getting their own RB
So every Freep culture has its RB except the poor Rohirrim |
