--- description ---
Cloning a Cairn Wanderer to make an army of killing machines.
--- end description ---
This deck revolves around two cards.
Cairn Wanderer
Shapesharer
Any questions? Then let’s get started!
Mana Base:
Vivid Marsh x 4
Vivid Meadow x 4
Vivid Creek x 3
Caves of Koilos x 4
Shimmering Grotto x 4
Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
Plains x 2
Creatures:
Akroma, Angel of Wrath x 3
Skyhunter Skirmisher x 4
Changeling Hero x 4
Calciderm x 4
Kithkin Harbinger x 4
Mirror Entity x 2
Shapesharer x 3
Shriekmaw x 4
Cairn Wanderer x 4
Moonglove Winnower x 4
Instants:
Dread Return x 3
The point of the deck is to abuse the cool keywords of everyone’s abilities and send them to the graveyard. Dread Return helps send stuff you need in the graveyard to the graveyard and let’s you repeatedly nab your Shriekmaw to hose their creatures. Or you can just run suicide missions.
The most important cards to sac are Akroma, Moonglove Winnower, and Knight of Meadowgrain. Once you get those saced, you have deathtouch, doublestrike, and first strike. Anything you attack gets killed, and you get to swing double at people.
Shapesharer clones themselves creatures so they all become mean killing machines. The most important thing to grab with Kithkin Harbinger is the Wanderer, and then the Shapesharer.
This deck also runs a tricky combo. Use Mirror Entity to make all your creatures changelings, and then eat through all your mana to clone creatures with Shapesharer. This combo isn’t really necessary, but more of a fun combo. The Kithkin Harbinger helps in grabbing all the necessary elementals.
Oh, and the Shriekmaw has a fun evoke combo itself. Evoke it to send it to the graveyard automatically while getting its effect.
Any ideas? |

Add the popcorn smiley to your sig, help it achieve world domination.
What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

Yeah, switch Fallen Ideal with Nantuko Husk as a Sacrifice outlet. Then, notice this is a terrible outlet, and run cards like Oona’s Prowler, Smallpox, Mindlash Sliver, etc. Some disruption, like Thoughtseize, some kill spells to get THEIR creatures in the graveyard as well, like Nameless Inversion or Eyblight’s Ending, and perhaps the Cloudgoat Ranger + Dread Return combo. |

Works as well. And while you’re at it, you can try out Momentary Blink, as well. Evoke Shriekmaw, play Blink in response to the sacrifice trigger. There. For 4 mana, you get a 3/2 fear guy, AND you get to nuke 2 of their creatures! |
