I’ll try to squeeze in one or two GotI and Pallando. It’s so hard to fit everything.... |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

The best decks I’ve ever made, I usually start with a self-sustaining core of about 15-20 cards, and go "hm...how on earth am I going to find 10 more cards to stick in?"
If you’re trying to cram everything in, stop, and rework your strategy.
Here’s a though.
Start with this core.
Gandalf, BoO
Dain Ironfoot
Treebeard, Keeper of the Watchwood
Jarnsmid
Brand
Grimbeorn
Pallando
Ent Draught x 4
Healing. Take your pick from any of Gandalf’s bag of tricks.
And go beatdown with the rest of the deck. Toss in some conditions, select your events, extra companions, you name it.
Radagast would be a good idea since you’re running. Last Stand + Librarian could be fun. Erland + Events + Mega-heal would also be cool. 4x Beorning Axe is NOT necessary for the deck to operate, contrary to popular opinion.
BTW, with this framework, I recommend a Dain/Jarnsmid starting fellowship and 4x Treebeard. From their, rock on!

What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"
