Do you think it is a broken combination? After all, it adds very large amounts of twilight with only a few exertions. Today, I played against mm’s Troll Swarm. He used the Keyward and Relentless Warg with 5 Trolls in hand, and added twilight.
Now, do you think that it is a broken combo, or just a good strategy? |
I had to put something here. |

good strategy. it requires having a good number of trolls in hand, the right minion (keyward) and a warg to work, there are a considerable number of decks which can beat it. |

I think it makes Troll Swarm overpowered, if not broken. As a combo it’s easy to set up. I mean, no one really complained about having to draw KoI for Uruk Bomb back in Towers block, or even getting a full set of Regulars.
So does popping out a couple more trolls cross the line from good to what-the-heck-just-clobbered-me-at-site-3 good? Well, most of my decks aren’t built to handle repeated attacks of that magnitude (assuming they’re even set up), so from the viewpoint of a scrub... yeah, this is probably the decktype I fear the most. |

Not "a few exertions", it just provides the vitality for extra exertions.
And yes, it is an overpowered combo. Not broken, that’s something else. Definitely overpowered. |

I say a Keyward errata that makes him unable to bear a warg is the best.
Seriously, who ever saw a Goblin riding around on wargs with a bunch of trolls anyway? Its an offense against logic, the LotR storyline, and any deck that gets clobbered!
However, Lackey is a better strategy. |

Yeah, using the warg-rider keyword woulda been much better.
And about Lackey, I don’t remember...I know that it was SDA-banned, but ah...was there something in the CRD about it? |

LH your anagram is Broken, but the combo isn’t. It can be beaten, and when it gets beat the deck it crap.
