How would you go about looking for more LOTR cards, besides trading? |

The obvious answer would be to buy them either from others here on the boards or by looking at the thread that shows places that still sell them online. Or if you are luck go to a local gaming store and see if they still have any for sale. |

I know some people who have worked up pretty good collections by begging off of people who already had a billion cards. You just need to find the right sucker for it.
Ebay generally has big masses of cards for sale, too, but you run the typical internet auction risks. |

Yeah, eBay is a good one. I once got a huge lot of cards off of there, including a promo ATAR. That really beefed up my decks. |

Well, Ebay would be great, but my dad doesn’t let me sell or buy stuff off of Ebay. |

1. to borrow (a small item or amount) without intending to return or repay it.
2. to get or take without paying or at another’s expense; sponge: He always mooches cigarettes.
3. to get or try to get something free of charge; sponge: lived by mooching off friends.
In other words, get everyone else to feel sorry for your small amount of cards and inability to acquire more... so they give you their cards. It’s surprisingly effective when you know people with enough cards who aren’t loath to part with a bunch.
(speaking from experience, having been subject to many moochers....) |

I mooched a Goblin Armory off you once. When I first started playing.
I still have it, in beat-up condition. Ironically, that was also my first rare. And then I mooched a Goblin Swarms off of you. Not quite as beat up...but...
Somehow, my moria deck has gone through several phases, archery, beatdown, swarm, but it has always had the same 4 Scimitars, same 4 Goblin Runners, Same Goblin Swarms, and the same Goblin Armory.
Anyway. Mooching works, especially when you have nothing but 40 commons that don’t work together. Now I probably have more cards than AD. And better decks, by far (IB/Lackey vs Happy Hobbits).
