I’m just not sold on a few of the apparent "fan favorites"--some just seem OP or not in the right "flavor" of the original--so my picks might seem a little odd:

Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I want to continue now, so what I’ll do is post the next round below, but not accept DCs from CG and m64 unless they vote in the last round.

Even without their votes, the winners for that round were pretty clear:

1) Lem0n
2) DI
3) LK

So GP to them (though I won’t replace the numbers with names until the final 2 have voted).

For the next round, we’re almost tacking a whole strategy in a single card: No Ordinary Storm

A reminder of the rules, which are slightly different for this round:

1) Have the same title (with a (V) attached to the end) and the same uniqueness
2) Have the same twilight cost and culture *HOWEVER: In this round, it is up to you whether you make the card into an event or a condition*
3) Have whatever attribute modifiers you think appropriate
4) Have a different text, maybe similar, but could also be on completely different lines and it MUST either be a weather card or work well with weather cards - *Really, we should be aiming for a card that makes weather strategies significantly more viable than they currently are*
5) Have a lore which you want, it’s really up to you - you can keep the same lore or put in your own, it doesn’t really matter.

So, your card should look a bit like this:

1 No Ordinary Storm (V) Isengard
Type
Text.
Lore.
1 V 130

I think that’s about it. This will also be the last Shadow card for a few rounds, so enjoy being evil while you can! Very Happy

Ah yes, and the deadline is Wednesday 20th.

I’ve just received a card from Hobbiton Lad, which means he’s joined the contest from this round onwards. Thumbs Up

Also received I think nearly half, so keep ’em coming.

And CG and m64, don’t forget to vote before you send me your DC for this round.

Received 6 out of 13 now. Really would want the others tomorrow, and so I’ve sent a PM to all those (usual) slackers! Very Happy

Though amazingly, SoP wasn’t on that list! Razz

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. Razz

Not that I have much room to talk, of course.
