To play, spot an Orc.
Golfimbul is damage +1 for each site stacked on him.
Maneuver: Remove to transfer a site from a condition to Golfimbul.
[His head] sailed a hundred yards through the air and went down a rabbit-hole, and in this way the battle was won and the game of Golf invented at the same moment.

Eh, okay. He could get huge, yes, but he’s not overly scary.

When you play this minion, you may spot an Orc to replace a site on the site path with a site from your adventure deck and stack the replaced site on this minion.
Skirmish: Discard a site stacked here to Lock a companion this minion is skirmishing until the end of the regroup phase.

Agree with lem0n: would be better.

Condition
Bearer must be an Orc.
Bearer is enduring.
Skirmish: Discard this condition to make an Orc strength +2.

Suggestion: make this a "hot potato" condition (like those in Age’s End that can be transferred among unique Orcs. Now THAT would be fun. |

Golfimbul as straight fierce sound good?

Done.

I never actually liked those conditions, but I suppose something like that could work. What do you think now?
lem0nhead wrote: Enduring what? 1, 2 or 3? Thought you had changed the keyword? Dont see the point in the skirmish ability but apart from that it seems good but expensive. You cant lower it to 1 but i dont know if id use it.
Wrong set, sorry! This one it’s just straight enduring (which is also by definition enduring 2).

Eh, that might be a little TOO much. Maybe conditional fierceness.

Looks good now...except there’s no way to transfer it from the support area back to a minion! I’d make it like many similiar conditions...starts in the support area and transfers during a skirmish. Just add a line about that and it becomes truly evil. The ultimate hot potato! |

Bearer is enduring.
Skirmish: Remove to transfer this condition from your support area to a unique Orc.
Each time bearer wins a skirmish, you may transfer this condition to your support area or another unique Orc.

Yes, Azog said that. The Battle also describes him as ’full of guile’. Hence the card!

So that’s it! My last post of the last set of my Hobbit block!
All the complete card lists are up and available through the master links page from my sig for you to browse through if you ever feel the need.
And that leaves nothing more but to say thank you to my loyal reviewers for sticking with it all this time, and of course to more casual reviewers as well.
I hope you enjoyed my very first delvings into DC-making (ambitious though it was for 700 cards ) and I’ll always be open to comments and suggestions.
Thanks all!
But of course, I’ll still be around, for I’m sure you’ve noticed the extra link in my sig for the Fall of Eregion, which I will endeavour to spend a bit of time on rather than the scattered and somewhat hap-hazard ideas which have been coming through on the thread recently!
And don’t forget my Virtual DC contest - just received the third card, as a matter of fact.

Nice set Thran, even if its been contentious as heck for me and some "intriguing" mechanisms, there are some darn good cards! |

Just looking over old cards, and I came across this:
Heavy Mattock
Possession • Hand Weapon
Str: +3
Bearer must be a Dwarf.
Skirmish: If not minion is unassigned, exert bearer to make him damage +1.
In battle they wielded heavy two-handed mattocks...
H2 C 17
Now, in this culture in this set there were 2 other possessions that Lock the bearer for bonuses, so I figured that this one should be no different. How about this as a replacement?

Too good?
