I was inspired to post this, after the discussion in Gameplay Questions on the use of Grimbold. You see, I myself have a Rohan deck of very sentimentile value, of which was built before I knew about Grimbold’s "official" decipher errata.
Anyway, could we as the CC group discuss and declare which of Decipher’s rulings are to be considered "messed up" and play some, just some, of the cards the way they were originally intended to?
I worry about Grimbold.
I am in no way indorsing a new kind of "chosen ones" group to be formed, I want to answer some of my questions.
Save Grimbeorn. |

In order to do that you will have to check every card that use site path manipulation from FOTR to MD, and determine if it will be broken to change that rule |

Dark Places is a horribly broken site manupilation card when mixed with underground or marsh decks. |

Group, shmoup.
If I own the card, it plays.
If it plays, it plays as it reads.
When I run out of TP, I wipe with the nearest CRD or x-list I can find.

So if I play grimbold in the future, would it be acceptable for anyone for me to use it with post shadows sites? |

4x each Grown Suddenly Tall and Sleep, Caradhras / Minion Archery or Moria Swarm (lotsa Goblin Backstabbers, damage +8 minions pwn, not even Smeagol with RoD can handle that, and who packs RoD anyways?). If you can’t beat him then, you suck at LotR and should quit.
You’re welcome. $10 consulting fee. I expect the check by Monday. |
